Influence of ambient temperature on temperature setting of oil press

The working temperature of the oil press not only depends on the equipment parameters, but also is directly affected by the external environment temperature, climate, altitude humidity and other factors. Many problems such as unstable oil output, black oil color and high residual oil in cakes are caused by improper adjustment of environmental temperature difference. Therefore, in the four seasons and under different working conditions, it is necessary to adjust the oil extraction temperature to ensure the oil quality and production stability.

The influence of environmental temperature on oil extraction process is often underestimated, but in fact it runs through the whole oil extraction process, which directly affects the temperature rise of equipment, the degree of oil maturation and the final oil extraction effect.

I. Coping strategies for low temperature environment in winter

In winter, the temperature is low, the equipment dissipates heat quickly, the temperature rises slowly, and the actual working temperature of the machine is generally lower than the set temperature of the instrument, which is easy to cause immature pressing, decreased oil yield, loose cake and high oil content.

1. Compensation for prolonging preheating: The preheating time in winter is extended to 15 ~ 20 minutes, and the overall set temperature is raised by 5℃ ~ 10℃ compared with the standard value, so as to ensure that the press chamber temperature reaches the standard and is stable.

2. Equipment thermal insulation protection: Thermal insulation cotton can be wrapped outside the oil press body and the press chamber to reduce the rapid loss of heat and keep the press at constant temperature.

3. Preheating the oilseed in advance: Preheat the oilseed to 30℃ ~ 40℃ before feeding, reduce the heating load of the equipment, and avoid the sudden drop of temperature caused by cold material entering the machine.

4. Keep continuous operation: Try to produce continuously in winter, reduce frequent start and stop, and prevent the equipment from cooling and heating repeatedly, resulting in unstable temperature.

II. Coping strategies for high temperature environment in summer

In summer, when the ambient temperature is high, the heat dissipation of the equipment is blocked, which easily leads to the problems of excessive temperature, burnt oil and dark oil color.

1. Appropriate cooling setting: Reduce the standard temperature of the oil press by 5℃ ~ 10℃ in summer to avoid over-temperature pressing.

2. Strengthen ventilation and heat dissipation: Ensure the air circulation around the equipment, and use a fan to assist heat dissipation, so as to quickly take away the working waste heat of the equipment.

3. Avoid exposure to sunlight: The equipment is placed in a cool and ventilated area, and direct sunlight is prohibited to avoid high temperature overload caused by superposition of ambient temperatures.

4. Step-by-step intermittent operation: After continuous operation for 1-2 hours, stop and rest for 10-15 minutes to prevent equipment from heat accumulation and high temperature aging.

III. Regional adjustment methods for special climate

1. High altitude area: The higher the altitude is, the lower the air pressure is, and the oilseed moisture is more likely to vaporize and volatilize, and the oil is prone to smoke. It is necessary to reduce the oil pressing temperature by 5℃ ~ 10℃ and press it gently.

2. Wet and rainy areas: The air humidity is high, the oilseed is easy to regain moisture, and the water content exceeds the standard, resulting in more oil bubbles and dry cakes. It is necessary to properly raise the pressing temperature to assist in evaporation of excess water, and if conditions permit, the oilseed can be dried in advance and then pressed.

The temperature setting of the oil press machine has no fixed value, so it needs to be flexibly fine-tuned according to the four seasons’ temperature, environmental humidity and altitude conditions. Supplementary temperature and insulation in winter, cooling and heat dissipation in summer, and adjustment on demand in special areas can effectively eliminate various problems and steadily improve the overall quality and efficiency of oil press production.
