Effect of oil pretreatment on the quality of edible oil
Oilseed pretreatment is the key pre-process of edible oil processing, which directly affects the quality of crude oil, oil yield and subsequent refining cost.

1. Remove impurities
Remove stones, dirt, stems and leaves and moldy particles, reduce precipitation and odor in oil, reduce equipment wear, and reduce the content of harmful substances such as aflatoxin from the source.
2. Control water
Drying and tempering will adjust the oilseed to the appropriate moisturel. Too high moisture is easy to cause rancidity of oil; Oilseed is easy to be broken when the moisture is too low, and proper moisture can improve the oil yield and delay the oxidation of oil.
3. Crushing the rolled blank
Destroy the cell wall of oilseed, which is beneficial to the separation of oil, make the material heated evenly, avoid local scorching, and prevent the oil from being bitter.
4. Cooking
In the hot pressing process, cooking inactivates the enzymes in oilseed, inhibits the deterioration of oil, stimulates the natural aroma of oilseed, and improves the flavor and storage stability of oil.
Standardized pretreatment of oilseed can reduce impurities, odor and harmful substances in oil, improve the color and flavor of oil, reduce the pressure of subsequent refining process, improve the oil yield and ensure the safety and quality of edible oil.
